“Knowledge is realising that the street is one way. Wisdom is looking both directions anyway.”

“Wisdom is the power to put our time and our knowledge to the proper use.” –Thomas j. Watson

As humans, we constantly misinterpret intelligence and knowledge with wisdom. It is one’s quality of having a good judgment based on knowledge. While intelligence means implementing the gained knowledge wisely.

Now we all know Aristotle, and if by any chance you’ve been buried under a rock for the past 1000 years. Then I’m here to tell you that he’s one of the most renowned philosophers that have ever lived and the one that came up with the concept of practical wisdom.

Practical Wisdom Aristotle

Practical wisdom is, as Aristotle said, ‘a true and reasoned state of capacity to act with regard to the things that are good or bad for the man.’

Wisdom is a vital part of everyone’s life. And is a skill worth more than any gold anyone could provide once achieved. It allows you to implement every skill that has been mentioned in the paragraphs above. Because the wise are able to master their mindset as well as design their life by looking upon old experiences and learning from them, instead of throwing them away in the back of their minds.

As for problem-solving, well, enlightenment is your key to any problem. Because with the right knowledge, the wise can put those facts into good judgment and figure out the root of any problem. And lastly for success, wisdom is better than any job application. Because being wise will provide more insight about your character than any job application could ever hope to do.
